Membership
As a leading voice in peer support advocacy across Ontario, PeerWorks is home to an inspiring community of peer voices and allies throughout the province.
At PeerWorks, we work to bring the peer voice to policy by having a seat at major provincial health care and implementation tables, hosting community events and connecting with peer leaders across the province.
If you're an individual or an organization (of any size) that is passionate about the impact that peer support can have on people and communities and wish to strengthen the peer voice across Ontario this is the place for you.
If you are part of an organization that has a PeerWorks organizational membership you do not need a separate individual membership to take advantage of membership benefits.
- General – Consumer/Survivor Initiatives and Peer Support Organizations and Programs that are peer led and peer driven.
- Affiliate – An organization that offers peer support but does not have a focus on mental health and addictions.
- Associate – An organization that advocates for positive change for Consumers/Survivors and is supportive of the PeerWorks’s objectives.
- Individual – Any person that serves in Peer Support, paid, voluntary or otherwise, in any area, is welcome to join PeerWorks as an individual member.

Membership fees range from $40 for individuals up to $250 for organizations. We do not want the fees to be a barrier to any individual or peer organization so if your organization has any problems with the fees please contact Allyson Theodorou at 1-866-681-6661 ext. 2.
